Where cicadas sing
The Colli di Luni territory represents movement, improvement and even yearning, it is poetry and prose, it is memory and glimpse at the future. The farmer as a demiurge has left his own track in the harmonious gardens of basil and vegetables, in the lemon trees downstream, in the Guyot-trained vineyards on sandy and clayey soils not far from the sea and in the olive groves that climb in disorder among the dry stone walls on the slopes.
Eastern Liguria is a contemplative and spare land, where man has adapted to the rhythm of the seasons, where the ancient villages on the hills interact with the horizon and where the songs of farmers still resonate when the sun goes down.
